The Flat Iron from the blade or shoulder, is a marbled cut with a beefy flavour and is another addition to our Butcher's Cut collection.

Flat iron steak is popular because of its rich, deep beefy flavour. It's a savory steak that tends to have decent marbling, but it remains sufficiently lean. The shoulder that this steak comes from gets decent exercise. So you're looking at well-exercised steak with just enough marbling to enrich the flavor.

Bello Beef is packed frozen (unless specifically ordered to receive fresh) grown on a\ certified organic and biodynamic "Levenvale Farm" in Bellingen, NSW from beef cattle generally female, aged 24-36 months old; vaccine, hormone and antibiotic-free; grass-fed and grass-finished on chemical-free pasture; we never supplement with grain from Angus and Angus Cross breeds.
