Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) | Organic Grass-Fed Beef from Levenvale Farm NSW
What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
A CSA is a model of food production and distribution that directly connects farmers and eaters – people buy shares in a farm’s projected harvest in advance and for a set period. Being part of CSA is a way for eaters to share with the farmer the costs and risks of farming as well as the bounty. As a community, we have the power to choose who we want to grow our food, how it is grown and who benefits.
What is the bounty I’m funding?
Bello Beef is grown on certified organic pastures at Levenvale Farm. We want Levenvale Farm to be a place where people can learn together, share experiences and grow together. We want to build community, regenerate our ecosystem, grow more nutritious food and bring back localised food systems. We want this for us, our children, our community & our future.
Your CSA share will go towards ensuring our business is sustainable - covering the growing costs of small business.
Who grows our food, how is it grown and who is benefiting?
We are a family-owned business on a journey to live more connected, sustainable and purposeful lives. We farm using regenerative and organic principles to ensure that we are improving our soils and ecosystem. We use biodynamic practices to positively energise our pastures and in turn our cattle and increase our community's capacity for regeneration and connection. We grow a diversity of pastures in the ground to create a harmonious and balanced habitat for everything to thrive, from the worms to the insects, the spiders and the birds. We aim to create a community that is resilient via localised and circular economic models.
